People Deseperately Yearn For The Opposite Gender's Fashion Staples

Sometimes I wish I could just live in men's basketball shorts forever and always. They're just so flowy and chill that I'd love to wear 'em to work every day. A Redditor started a thread about what fashion staples the opposite gender dons that they'd love to wear for a day (or a year), and some of the responses are things I've never thought about before. Who knew guys were so into the variety that women's fashion offers? Def not me, and now I'm counting my blessings. Scroll down for some insight into classic fashion staples according to gender.

    As much as I love my long hair, it do be getting frizzy sometimes, especially in the heat of summer. Should I chop it all off just in time for hot girl summer? You decide!

    Human body - Diet_Coke · 19h Women's clothes just have so much more variety in fit, patterns, and materials. The women's section of a clothing store is always at least 3x larger than the men's section which is mostly black/grey/blue polos and jeans.

    Human body - shinkouhyou · 19h Women's suits exist, but they're low quality polyester crap compared to men's suits. And it's surprisingly hard to find a basic women's suit. They all have ruffles or 3/4 sleeves or peplums or cropped jackets or some other feminine detail.

    Font - kokoshkaka · 20h I like the fact that any sort of cosmetic marketed towards men has a stronger and longer lasting fragrance. Colognes, deodorants, hair products, etc. I love women's scents more (i.e. floral/sweet/fruity), but they never last! It's hard to find something as strong or with the same lingering power as men's products.

Guys are usually expected to have more drab attire, especially in professional settings (just look at the normal during red carpets).

    Font - lookssharp · 19h Options, women have skirts, dresses of all types of length, rompers, jumpers, shorts, pants everywhere from medium, rise to super high rise. leggings and tights in every color imaginable. Heels, wedges, flats, sneakers, boots, and everything in- between. So many ways to look cool. dudes have denim and khakis.
